The Demon of the WestThe bar started off fairly silent. Slow music playing from Samantha's Piano in background but not much else. It wasn't until she came in that things got riled up. She sat down at the poker table and slapped down a five hundred. The Demon of the West by ushi1ama
"Five hundred!" she howled. "Who's up for a game?"
Multiple men flocked the table to try and get some good money out of this game. The waitresses serving beers faster than i could count.
"Well ah reckon it would be gambling if it was a game of chance," she remarked snidely, "but since ah never lose at cards... its more a game of certainty." She shuffled the deck and set out the cards.
Some of the players laughed as they picked up their cards, many of them smiled, many of them were obviously bluffing.
"Three kings." Ryder announced, slapping his cards down on the table. "Top it." He put in a fifty, putting the value of the game up to 'bout a thousand. She chuckled.
"Full house." She tossed her cards onto the table and the other players look at the card
Meat Gum, The Epilogue (Big Hero 6 WG)Gogo Tomago was only beginning to wake up from her latest food coma when her cellphone went off rather suddenly. The typically loud and repetitive buzzing ringtone it emitted to denote a call was probably the very last thing she had any discernible patience for hearing at that moment. Every time it looped, she felt like a ice pick was being gradually pounded deeper and deeper inside of her skull. Gogo groaned. She had no idea what time it was on her own, which could easily be solved by looking at her phone, but she'd yet to do that. As it was, though, she could only guess that it was some point at daytime; late morning at the earl
Writing an OnomatopoeiaThe other day, a friend of mine (A writer) asked me to explain how to write onomatopoeias as they felt they had no idea on how to do them. I explained that I was the best at onomatopoeias. But then I said JK. Then explained that I have been told by many that mine are the best they’ve seen. Now I don’t like to pat my own back on this as in my mind, there is no absolute correct way to write a fart onomatopoeia. But, as so many have asked me to explain how I write mine, I decided that I might as well explain my “science” to writing them and share it with all of you. This may be a little all over the place a little. But this isn’t an Essay, who wants to read essays anyway? RIGHT!
Again, this is not the only way to write an onomatopoeia, there is no “correct” way. But I think there are “wrong” ways XD. I will also let you know now that this is not simple, and it may seem like a lot, but when broken down, it really doesn’t take a to
